luciferovXI writes gothic and dark fantasy, and prefers to remain in the shadows; ‘the winter slaughters’ is her debut novel, and the first book of the ‘sinister star’ series.

She is a second-generation Chinese-Korean immigrant. Born and raised in Canada, attending French immersion school growing up, super fan of Harry Potter, she finds inspiration in the darkest and most cynical corners of the world. While not writing, she likes listening to heavy metal, being a hater, critiquing inferior literature, and planning revolutions inside her head.

Why this book

I loved the idea of a Canadian Gothic sorcery school novel inspired by the cold arctic, so here I am.
